Research Interests

My work combines theoretical advances in spatial data statistics and econometrics with empirical applications in urban, regional, and public economics.

Thematic areas:

  • Land and housing markets (land use, housing policies, short-term rentals)
  • Fiscal federalism, inter-municipal cooperation, tax competition
  • Spatial disparities, residential mobility and regional convergence
  • Environmental and agricultural economics

Methodological contributions:

  • Exploratory spatial data analysis (ESDA)
  • Spatial data & network models (cross-sectional and panel)
  • Experimental methods (laboratory, field, correspondence tests)
  • Causal inference and impact evaluation
